DURHAM PASSES THE 1000 MARK!

Posted on 1/15/2017 by Martin Schoolkate

Durham Walkers ready at the starting line soon....

The Mark Charity Walk in May 2017 will have representatives from the Mark Province of Durham who have had no problem in getting an excellent team of walkers to take part. The six members of the Durham Sponsored Walk Team are eagerly looking forward to taking part in the 2017 Mark Charity Walk. The team will be led by the Provincial Grand Master,Denny Wilson, enthusiastically supported by members of his Executive. Walking shoes are already being broken in !

The Mark Benevolent Fund is dedicated to bringing relief and support to the point of need as quickly as possible, and so make a difference to the lives of so many people.  The Mark Charity Walk provides an opportunity for us to do what Mark Masons do so well to raise funds to help others and have fun in doing it!  A magnificent response from the brethren in the Province has already achieved in excess over £1000.00 for the fund. This will undoubtedly be increased, and spur on the Walkers to even greater fitness and complete the walk in a record time!

Please visit the  http://durham.mbfwalk.org.uk  webpage and sponsor your Walk Team and so help the Mark Benevolent Fund to make a difference by clicking the "Donate" icon and making your donation. Your donation can, if you wish, be credited to a personal MBF Honorific.
