We are delighted to launch the new and improved Province of Durham Mark tie to help celebrate the occasion of being a Centenary Province.
Reaching 100 years of existence is a landmark for our Province and something to be proud of. We therefore decided to redesign our traditional tie, raising the detail to a much higher position, so that it can be seen above a waistcoat, with additional legend celebrating our centenary. They are made of firmer material and with a more striking colour contrast to make you stand out. They may be worn from now, right through our centenary year and beyond.
The ties are modestly priced at £12 with any surplus generated from the sales being initially donated to the Centenary Fund and thereafter towards the Mark Benevolent Fund. They are available now from Graham Wharton and Provincial Representatives will also have them available. Ties will also be on sale at the Provincial Annual Meeting in June.
So, if your current tie is looking a little worn, has too many soup stains on or you just fancy a new one ... why not get the new centenary tie?
